I went to a School whose basketball coach has the most difficult last name. Yet they are able to say and spell it in their dreams as you said. Just compare "Gyamfi" and "Gym". They're able to pronounce the latter but with a vowel "a" inserted between the y and m, it makes the former (my name) so difficult that no one even dares to make an attempt. Most of the times, it does not bother me but at times it makes my heard spin when I see someone frown upon my name or hear certain remarks that follow when my name is mentioned.
