  1. we cannot continue to blame the Europeans for our woes. Europe did the same evils in Singapore, Korea, and malaysia. and yet these countries are doing very well. Why can’t we do the same?

  2. It is a great ambition to call upon the newer generation of Africans, However, the Prof. still does not give a definite origin of Africa’s problems. Instead he places the blame entirely on the government which makes it seem like he does not take into account the effects of European influence such as the introduction of capitalism and the huge impact that had in shaping Africa’s present-day economy.

  3. the trouble (in Africa) is fighting the influence of nations like China (the major economic force there) which only believes in demand and supply. Individual rights are not a priority at home, little will it be in Africa. Hopefully as the internet awakens China to free style views of democracy and ideals, it will provoke thoughts of global cooperation and human rights
